Memory Polling (Bulletin)

This feature enables remote machines to contact this machine and poll data directly from memory until all of the stored documents have been retrieved.

To set memory polling (bulletin):

1Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.

2Press to select Polling TX/RX.

3Press Enter to select Polling TX.

4Press to select Memory Poll (Bull), press Enter.

5Load the document(s).

6Document(s) are scanned and stored in memory, and display shows Waiting to be Polled.

Fax on Demand (Bulletin Polling [Box])

This feature enables remote machines to contact this machine and poll data from specified personal mailboxes until all the documents stored have been retrieved. Before bulletin polling can be conducted, you must open personal mailboxes for storage of the documents to be scanned.

To create a personal (bulletin polling) mailbox:

1Press Menu/Exit key to enter Menu.

2Input speed access no. 03, wait.

3Enter the personal box number (1-16), press Enter.

4Press or to select Bulletin Polling, press Enter.

5Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the desired number of bulletin polling mailboxes has been created (up to 16).

6Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

To set bulletin polling:

1Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.

2Press to select Polling TX/RX, press Enter.

3Press Enter to select Polling TX.

4Press Enter to select Bulletin Poll (Box).

5Input personal mailbox numbers (1-16), press Enter after inputting each mailbox number.

6When finished inputting mailbox numbers, load the document(s).

7The document(s) will be scanned and stored in memory,

Bulletin Msg. in Mem will display.
