Turning the buzzer on
Press [ALERT] to turn the buzzer on.
• The alert indicator will turn green.
Stopping the Buzzer
Press [ALERT] to turn the buzzer off.
• The alert indicator light will go out.
• After turning the buzzer off, pressing [ALERT] again will turn it back on.
Changing the Buzzer Volume
Volume can be changed in the [General Setup] screen from the [Setup] screen.
The volume settings are Off, 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Turning off the Flashing Sensor Indicator
When Sensor Alert mode is on, or when using the sensor for set recording times
(see page 66 and page 76), the sensor indicator will continue to flash once the
camera’s sensor has been activated.
To turn it off:
1. Display the [Sensor Alert] screen (see page66).
2. Set [Sensor Alert] to [–] (unless it is already set to [–]), then press [ENTER].
• To turn Sensor Alert mode on again, set [Sensor Alert] to [On] again on
the [Sensor Alert] screen.

• A remote camera can be selected here only if [Sensor] is set to [On] on
the camera's setup screen (see page117).
