1.3 Making Calls

Basic Operations

Dialing with System Speed Dialing (System Speed Dialing)

Allows you to make a call using pre-programmed speed dial numbers. This system supports

100 speed dial numbers which are available to all extension users.

PT and SLT

Lift the handset or press

SP-PHONE/MONITOR.

Enter a system speed dial number

(00 through 99).

For a PT: Press AUTO/STORE.

For an SLT: Dial .

AUTO/STORE

• You will not hear a tone.

• The AUTO/STORE indicator lights. • The AUTO/STORE indicator light

turns off.

• System Speed Dial numbers must be stored by System Programming.

• “Speed Dialing”, “One-Touch Dialing” and manual dialing can be used together.

• You may press a CO button or dial a line access code to select a desired outside (CO) line

before pressing the AUTO/STORE button or dialing .

• It is possible to cancel toll restriction with this feature (Toll Restriction Override for System

Speed Dialing). In this case, System Programming is necessary.

• A System Speed Dial number can be divided when stored.

<Example>

If the number is divided and stored in System Speed Dial numbers 01 and 02,

Press: [AUTO/STORE] [0] [1] [AUTO/STORE] [0] [2].

• The dialed number appears on the display.

• A rotary telephone cannot use this feature.
