Network connections

The projector has a network function, and the following operations are available from the computer using the Web control.

zzA LAN cable is required to use the network function.

zzA Web browser is required to use this function. Confirm that the Web browser can be used beforehand. Compatible OS: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7, Mac OS X v10.4/v10.5/v10.6/v10.7 Compatible browser: Internet Explorer 7.0/8.0/9.0, Safari 4.0/5.0 (Mac OS)

zzCommunication with an E-mail server is required to use the E-mail function. Confirm that the E-mail can be used beforehand.

zzUse a LAN cable that is straight-through and compatible with category 5 or higher. zzUse a LAN cable of 100 m (328'1") or shorter length.

Lights on when connected to the 100BASE-TX.

Attention

zzWhen a LAN cable is directly connected to the projector, the network connection must be made indoors.
