6 AT COMMAND REFERENCE
This chapter provides complete details about the AT
command set for the QUALCOMM Globalstar GSP-1620
Satellite Data Modem. The AT command set is the control
interface between the Data Terminal Equipment (DTE ) and
Data Communications Equipment (DCE).
For a handy quick re ference to all AT commands, s ee the
tables at the beginning of this chapter:
• Table 6-1, “Operational AT Commands” — lists the AT
Commands recognized by the modem software.
• Table 6-2, “Non-Operational AT Commands” — lists
commands that are recognized, but not su pported, by the
modem. For example, because the modem has no speaker,
the command to set speaker volume will neithe r set the
volume nor return an ERROR. The command is accepted,
but performs no action.
