Setting the Cleaning Intervals

The cleaning type and the interval between each cleaning operation are set.

1	Select [AUTO MAINT.] of the maintenance menu.
	(1) Press the	key in LOCAL.
	(2) Press	to select [MAINTENANCE] and press the	key.
	(3) Press	to select [AUTO MAINT.].
2	(4) Press the	key.
	Press	to select [CLEANING].	AU TO MA I NT .

	Press the	key.	C L EAN I NG
4			: L v . 1
	Press	to set the interval between each	C L EAN I NG
	cleaning operation.		: L v . 1

•Set value : Lv.1, Lv.2, Lv.3

•As the LEVEL increases, the interval between each operation gets shorter.

5	Press the	key.	T Y PE
	• The cleaning type selection screen appears.		: NORMA L

6	Press	to select a cleaning type.
	• Set value : NORMAL, SOFT, HARD

• when white ink is filled, the default setting is “HARD”. (For four colors and six colors, it is “SOFT”.)

It is recommended for you to use in “HARD” to prevent nozzle clogging.

7	Press the	key.	AU TO MA I NT .

8	Press the	key several times to end the setting.
