Configuring the Internet Gate on Your PC

When the fax modem configuration is complete, the SmarThru software loads the Internet Gate sets up your internet connection.

Note: To configure the internet gate of the SmarThru system, you must enter your e-mail address, SMTP/POP3 server address, POP3 account name and password. Ask your Internet Service Provider or online service provider about the information on your internet gate configuration.

1.The SmarThru Internet Gate Configuration Wizard dialogue box appears. Select the way you are connected to the Internet, then click Next.

If you are connected to the Internet over a LAN (i.e. in an office network environment), select Connection to Internet over LAN, and skip to Step 4.

If you use dial-up for Internet connection, select Use Dial-Up for Internet Connection, and proceed to the next step.
