The Calc (Calculator) Application

The unit has a 1 O-digit calculator which performs mathematical operations, including square root and percentage calculation, and can also calculate duration of time based on a date, such as the number of days you have to complete a project. In addition, it has a paperless printer feature, which displays all calculations in a vertical column on the display.

There are three different displays in the Calc application, and the application opens with the display that was last used.

1.Press (CALC) to open the application window. The calculator’s key pad appears on the display.

2. Enter the calculation by touching the key pad.

You can also use the numeric and mathematical symbol keys on the keyboard.

To quit the Calc application, press any other application key.

•To clear an entered value, touch I] once, and to clear a calcutator operation, touch [El twice.

•Calculations are performed in the order of entry, not according to algebraic convention, i.e., 8 + 2 x 3 = (8 + 2) x 3, not 8 + (2 x 3).

•q on the display indicates that a number is stored in memory. Touch lm] twice to clear the memory.
