Opening an Application

To start using an application, simply press the desired key, located to the left of the display. Each time you

press [CALENDAR),(i5i%$, [SGZUiIQ, (ANN),

[TEL], [UsER), (NOTEBOOK), COUTLINE), (FILERJ, [SCRAPBOOK) or (m) , the selected application will appear. Any application open on the display will now be hidden when a new application is selected. You can always return to another application at the exact point where you left off simply by pressing its key again. Only one application will ever be visible at a time. The Clock is displayed only while (m) is pressed.

Selecting Display Modes

Once an application is open, you can switch between three basic display modes: Index, View, and Edit. Each display mode has its own unique appearance and particular purpose.

The Calc, Calendar, and Clock applications do not have Index, View, or Edit modes.

The Index The Index mode shows you a one line view of each entry.

modeFrom this you can easily find a particular entry. This is the default view the first time you use an application or when there are no entries in a particular application.
