The
To use the answering machine, record an outgoing message and then set the reception mode to A.M. when you go out.
Recording an Outgoing Message
The outgoing message (OGM) is the greeting that the machine plays after answering a call to inform callers that they can leave a message or send a fax.
♦The general message box must warn callers that no further recording is possible if one long beep followed by four consecutive short beeps are heard.
Example:
"Hello. You’ve reached the ABC company. No one is available to take your call right now. Please leave a message after the beep or press your facsimile Start key to send a fax. If while recording a message you should hear one long beep followed by four consecutive short beeps, no more recording is possible. Thank you for calling."
