Replacing the Paper Roll
■■ Recording paper specifications
Be sure to use paper rolls specified by SHARP.
The use of any other paper rolls than specified could cause paper jamming, resulting in register malfunction.

• Be sure to set a paper roll prior to using your machine, otherwise it may cause a malfunction.
Install the paper roll in the printer. Be careful then to set the roll and cut the paper end correctly.

■■ Installing the Paper Roll
Always install the paper roll even when you set the register for not printing receipt in REG mode.

1.Remove the printer cover.
2.Lift up the print roller arm.
3. | Set the paper correctly in the paper roll cradle. | |
NOTE | Before placing a new paper roll in the paper | |

| roll cradle, cut off the pasted (taped) part of the |
|
| paper and confirm that the cut end of the paper is |
|
| straight. |
