1.3 Changes since the last version of the manual

The documentation has been updated to conform to the software level of Advanced Server for UNIX V4.0B.

For a list of differences between Advanced Server for UNIX V4.0B and the previons version, please refer to the section “Compatibility” in the chapter “Introduction to Advanced Server for UNIX”.

1.4 Notational conventions

The following notational conventions are used in this manual:

denotes a warning that you must heed to avoid loss of data or serious errors
