GO Button Is UnavailableEnsure the card is properly inserted, not locked (page68), and not powered off
(page 52).
If the Mobile Broadband window displays “Searching for service” for a long period
of time (for example, several minutes), see “Searching for Service” below.
If Roam Mode is set to Sprint, ensure you are in the network coverage area (not
roaming), or change the setting (page82). ( You may be subject to roaming rates.)
Searching for ServiceIf the Mobile Broadband window displays “Searching for service” for a long period
of time (for example, several minutes), try one of the following:
䢇Try reorienting your computer.
䢇If you are inside a building or near a structure that may be blocking the signal,
change the position or location of your computer.
䢇If Roam Mode is set to Sprint, ensure you are within the network coverage area,
or change the RoamMode setting. (You may be subject to roaming rates.)
䢇If Roam Mode is set to Roam Only, ensure you are roaming, or change the
RoamMode setting .
䢇If Network Mode is set to 1X Only, and only 1xEV-DO coverage is available, either
move to an area that has 1X coverage, or change the setting to Automatic or
1xEV-DOOnly. Note: With the setting 1xEV-DO Only, SprintLocation Services
may not be supported.
䢇If Network Mode is set to 1xEV-DO Only, and only 1X coverage is available, either
move to an area that has 1xEV-DO coverage, or change the setting to Automatic
or 1XOnly.
䢇Check with Sprint — a network or account problem may be preventing the card
from obtaining service.
