System Tray Connection States

Sprint Connection Manager has an associated icon () that appears in the system tray. The icon reflects the connection state.

Sprint Connection Manager is not ready to connect to the network. Your card is either locked (“Device locked”; page 52), not detected (“No device”; page 50), or powered off (“Device powered off”; page 52).

Disconnected — Sprint Connection Manager is ready to make a connection to the network (page 51), or

Connecting — Sprint Connection Manager is making a connection to the network (page 51).

Connected — Connection is established to the network; data transfer is in progress (page 51).

Dormant — Connection is established, but no data transfer is taking place.

Clicking the system tray icon toggles between displaying and minimizing Sprint Connection Manager.

Right-clicking the icon displays the shortcut menu (page 75).

If Sprint Location Services are supported and enabled, then a second icon () is displayed in the system tray. The ToolTip indicates GPS and satellite status.
