LED Operation
Your card has two LED light bars near the antenna end of the card. The LED light
bars operate as follows:
LED State of LED Indicates
Off The card has no power. The card may not be
completely inserted into the computer, the
computer may be turned off or in suspend mode
(Windows) or sleep mode (Mac), which powers
down the card, or you have powered the card off
(for Windows, see page57; for Mac, see
page 115).
Blue, not blinking The card has power and is working properly.
Blue, blinking The card’s firmware is being updated. Do not
remove the card.
Amber, blinking The card is searching for service. If this LED state
persists, see “Searching for Service” on page104
(Windows) or page117 (Mac).
Amber, not blinking An error has occurred. Eject the card (for
Windows, see page28; for Mac, see page 115)
and reinsert it.
Off No service is available. See “Searching for
Service” on page 104 (Windows) or page131
(Mac).
Amber, blinking SprintVision (1X) coverage is detected. Ready to
connect to the network; to connect, click the GO
button (Windows) or the Connect button (Mac).
Amber, not blinking The card is connected to the SprintVision (1X)
network, and can send or receive data.
