The following table describes the options:

Play sound	Play a clicking sound whenever an action is made in
effects	Sprint Connection Manager.
Always on	Keep Sprint Connection Manager visible on your screen
top	regardless of which applications are open.
Start in	Have Sprint Connection Manager start (minimized) in the system
system tray	tray on startup. (See “Restoring Sprint Connection Manager”
	on page 61.)
Keep	Have Sprint Connection Manager keep a log of your data
Connection	connections (page 87).
History
Launch when	Have Sprint Connection Manager start automatically when
Windows	Windows starts.
starts	Tip: You can also set the Sprint Power Vision or Sprint Vision
	connection to launch automatically whenever available (see “GO
	automatically when ready” on page 81). These settings provide an
	“always-on” connection, as long as you have network coverage.
Check for	Have Sprint Connection Manager automatically check for
updates once	software updates (page 91).

	Note: During the software update, Sprint Connection Manager will
	close. Before you initiate the software update, finish any Web
	browsing, data transfers, and so on.

Note:

Changes to the setting Launch when Windows starts apply only after you restart Windows. Changes to the setting Start in system tray apply only after you exit and restart Sprint Connection Manager.
