d. Display the test signal:
HFrom the toolbar bar clickVE RT,and then click Position.
HUse the keypadto set vertical position to --5 divisions (pressCLR,
5,-- ,andthenENTER,on the keypad). The baseline level will move
off screen.
HClick Offset.
HUse the keypadto set vertical offset to the positive-polarity setting
listed in the table for the currentvertical scale setting. The baseline
level will remainoff screen.
HSet the generatorto the level and polarity indicated in the table for
the verticalscale, position, and offset settings that you have made.
The DC test level should appearon the screen. (If it doesn’t return,
the DC accuracy check has failed for the current vertical scale setting
of the currentchannel.)
e. Measurethe test signal: Press Close. Read the measu rement results at
the Mean measurementreadout. See Figure 2--9.
