2. Set the Generator:
HSet the sine wave generatorto a reference frequency of 10 MHz.
HAdjust the sine wave generatoramplitude to the required number of
divisions as measuredby the oscilloscope.
3. Record the reference level: Note the readingon the level meter.
4. Set the generator to the new frequency an d referencelevel:
HChange the sine wave generator to the d esired new frequency.
HInput the correctionfactor and/or the new frequency into the level meter.
HAdjust the sine wave generatoramplitude until the level meter again
reads the valuenoted in step 3. The signal amplitude is now correctly set
for the new frequencyfor your specific test procedure.
Proceed with the test instructio ns that require a leveled sine wave generator at
the frequencyyou set in step 4.
Use this setup if you do not havea power divider.
