i. Check remainingvertical scale settings against limits (optional):
HIf desired, finish checking the remaining verti cal scale settings for
the channelunder test by repeating substeps d through h for each of
the remaining scalesettings listed in Table 2--3 forthe channel under
test.
HBefore doing substepf, click the Clear button to remove the
previous channel measurements.
HWhen doing substep f,skipthe subparts that turn on the CH<x>
Pk-Pk measurement until you check a new channel .
HInstall/removeattenuators between the generator leveling head and
the channelinput as needed to obtain the six division reference
signals listed in the table.
j. Testall channels: Repeat substeps a through h for all channels.
3. Disconnect the hookup:Disconnect the test hook up from the input
connectorof the channel last tested.

Prerequisites ReadPrerequisites on page 2 --17and footnote warnings on page 2--19.
STOP.Do not use the vertical position knob to reposition any channelw hile
doing this check. To do so invalidates the test.
1. Install the test hookupand preset the instrument controls:
a. Initialize the frontpanel: Press the DEFAULT SETUP button.
b. Modify the initialized front-panelcontrol settings:
HDo not adjust the verticalposition of any channel during this
procedure.
HFrom the toolbar,click the Vert button.
HSet the termination of each channel to 50 Ωby selecting each
channel taband clicking the Termination 50 Ωbutton.
