stabilize the Delayedtrigger. Click one of the Slope buttons to
switch betweentrigger slopes. See Figure 2--21 on page 2--50.
HEnter the pass/failresult for delayed trigger in the test record.
HLeave the Delayedtrigger system triggered on the positive slope of
the waveformbefore continuing to the next step. Also, return to the
main trigger:select the A-->BSeq tab and click the A-->BSequence
AOnlybutton.
HSelect the AEventtab; then press Close.
3. Confirm the AUX Trigger input:
a. Display the test signal:
HRemove the 10X attenuator; then reconnectthe 50 termination
and precision 50 cable to CH 1.
HPress the TriggerSOURCE but ton to select CH 1.
HSet the test signal amplitudefor approximately 4 divisions on the
screen.
HFine-adjust the generatoroutput until the C H 1 Amplitude readout
indicates that the amplitudeis 400 mV.
b. Check the AUX trigger sourcefor stable triggering at 50 MHz: Do the
following in the orderlisted.
HMove the 50 termination and precision50 cable from CH 1 to
AUX IN.
HPress the TriggerSOURCE button to set the source to EXT.
HAdjust the TriggerLEVEL knob in the positive direction.
HCHECK for a stable trigger.When a stable trigger is obtained, the
TRIG’D indicator is lighted.
NOTE. Youwill not see the signal on the display.
HPress the TriggerSLOPE button to toggle it to NEG.
HAdjust the TriggerLEVEL knob in the negative direction.
HCHECK for a stable trigger.When a stable trigger is obtained, the
TRIG’D indicator is lighted.
HEnter the pass/failresults in the test record.
