HPush TriggerSource to toggle the source to CH 3.
HSet the Horizontal SCALE to 200 s.
HIf necessary,adjust the calibration generator output for an amplitude
of 5 divisions. For oscilloscopes with 50 Ωinputs, you may need to
double the output of the generator.
HFrom the toolbar bar,click Horiz, and s elect the Acquisitiontab.
HClick Average,and set the number of averages to 64.
HClick the Close button.
2. Confirm AUX OUT is within li mits for logic levels:
a. Display the test signal:
HPress the Vertical CH3buttontoturnoffCH3.
HPress the Vertical CH2button to display that channel.
HSet the CH 2 Vertical SCALE to 1V.
HUse the Vertical POSITION knob to centerthe display on-screen.
b. Measure logic levels:
HFrom the toolbar,click MEA S, and select the Ampl tab.
HClick the High and Low buttons.
HClick the Close button.
c. Check AUX OUT output against limits:
HCHECK that the CH 2 High readout is ≥2.5 volts and that theC H 2
Low readout is ≤0.7 volts. See Figure 2--23.
HEnter the high andlow voltages in the test record.
HFrom the toolbar,click the Vert button. Click the Termination 50 Ω
button.
HClick the Close button.
HCHECK that the CH 2 High readout is ≥1.0 volt and that theC H 2
Low readout ≤0.25 volts.
HEnter the high andlow voltages in the test record.
