3. Confirm SIGNAL OUT is within limits for gain:

a. Measuregain:

HMove the precision 50 Ωcablefrom the AUX OUT BNC to the

SIGNAL OUT BNC.

HSet CH 2 Vertical SCALE to 100 mV.

HPressPUSH TO SET 50%.

HFrom the toolbar,click MEA S, and select the Ampl tab.

HClick the Pk-Pk button.

HClick Close.

b. Check against limits:

HFrom the toolbar,click the Vert button, then click the Termination

1MΩbutton.

HClick Close.

HCHECK that the readout CH2 Pk-Pk is between200 mV and

300 mV,inclusive.

HEnter the voltage in the test record.

HFrom the toolbar,click the Vert button; then click the Termination

50 Ωbutton.

HClick Close.
