HClick the Save button.
HDisconnect the adapterfrom CH 1 and the probe compensation
connector.
HTov iew the stored waveform on screen, verify that the display On
button (in the controlwindow) is toggled to On.
d. Hook up the DC standardsource:
HSet the output of a DC calibration generatorto offor 0 volts.
HConnect the output of the DC calibration generator,through a
dual-bananaconnector, followed by a 50 Ωprecision coaxi al cable,
to one side of a BNC T connector.S eeF igure2 --26.
HConnect the Sense output of the generator,through a second
dual-bananaconnector, followed by a 50 Ωprecision coaxi al cable,
to the other side of the BNC T connector.Connect the BNC T
connectorto CH 1. See Figure 2--26.

e. Measureamplitude of the probe compensation signal:
HFrom the toolbar bar,click Horiz, and s elect the Acquisitiontab.
HClick Averageand set the number of averages to 16 using the
keypad or the multipurpose knob.
HAdjust the output of the DC calibrationgenerator until it precisely
overlaps the top (upper)level of the stored probe compensation
signal. (This value will be near 1000 mV.)
HRecord the settingof the DC generator.
