Verification Stamp

Verification Stamp

The Verification Stamp contains ink. When the stamp mark appears faded or hard to see, the stamp should be replaced or

refilled with ink.

To remove the stamp

NOTE 1. Please contact your service representative to purchase a new stamp.

2. Stamp ink refills can be purchased from a stationary store. Use blue Shachihata "X" Stamp ink

(No. 22113) or its equivalent.

Open the ADF Cover Remove the Stamp. Replace the stamp with a

new one or refill the stamp with a few drops of

the specified ink into the back of the stamp.

(see Note 1)

: Turn the Power Switch on the

Back Side of the machine to

the OFF position.

: Remove a Screw and the

Battery Holder

"+" side of battery should be

facing upwards.

(Observe the polarity, see

CAUTION! below)

: Reinstall the Battery Holder

and fasten the Screw.

: Turn the Power Switch on

the Back Side of the

machine to the ON position.

If the clock is flashing on the LCD Display, follow the

procedures on page 108 to reset the clock.

Keep button battery/verification stamp and small parts out of reach of children to prevent

choking or poisoning. If a button battery/verification stamp is swallowed accidentally, get

medical treatment immediately.

NOTE:

The service life of the battery is approximately 1

year under normal use.
