2-Sided Receiving

Set Fax Parameter No. 95 (DUPLEX PRINT) to Valid. (See Note 5) (See page 114)

Under the following conditions your machine cannot receive 2-Sided transmissions. It will automatically change to a 1-Sided reception.

-When receiving Legal size document(s) with 600 dpi Resolution.

-When the machine detects memory overflow.

Lift the handset

Remove any original(s) from the ADF.

Press START then hang

up the telephone.

The machine starts receiving the document(s).

Replenish the recording paper, toner or clear the jam.

The document(s) stored in memory will be automatically printed.

Ex: A4 to A4	96%
A4 to Letter	90%
Letter to Letter	96%
Legal to Letter	75%

NOTE 4. If the received document is extremely long

(over 39% longer than the recording paper),

the document is divided into separate pages.	Overlap print.
(When printing on separate pages, the bottom
0.5 in (13 mm) of the 1st page's data will overlap	13 mm
on top of the next page.)

5.If the machine detects memory overflow while

receiving in the Duplex Print setting, it will switch from duplex printing to single-sided printing.
