Setting Your Machine

User Parameters (For Facsimile)

General Description

Your machine has several basic settings (User Parameters) to help you keep records of the documents you send or receive. For example, the built-in clock keeps the current Date and Time, your LOGO and ID Number to help identify you when you send or receive documents.

These parameters can be programmed via your PC by using the Configuration Editor included in the Document Management System CD with the machine.

Follow the Operator's Manual included in the Document Management System CD.

Setting the User Parameters

Enter the new Date and Time. Ex: mm-dd-yyyy 15:00

Enter your Character ID (Up to 16 characters and digits)

Enter your ID (Up to 20 digits)

(Press	SPACE	to add a space)

NOTE

1.Special characters, such as Å, Ä, Ö, Ü, Æ, è and é cannot be used for Character ID.

2.To correct a mistake, use or to move the cursor to the right side of the incorrect

number or character, press

CLEAR

then re-enter the correct number or character. If you

wish to clear all numbers or characters, press

CLEAR

when the cursor is positioned at the

beginning of the number or character field.

3.The current Date & Time must be set because it is required by the Telephone Consumer Act of 1991. (For details, see FCC NOTICE at the beginning of these Operator's Manual.) (See page 19)

4.Your Company Name or your name must be set as your LOGO because it is required by the Telephone Consumer Act of 1991. (For details, see FCC NOTICE at the beginning of these Operator's Manual.) (See page 19)
