4.8 Camping At Another TelephoneAnd Waiting ForAn Automatic Callback
If the telephone you havecalled on the intercom line is busy or rings
with no answer,you can have the system ring your telephone when the
called station becomesidle (if it was busy)or when there is any activity
initiated at that telephone (if it rang with no answer before).
To camp on at a busy or no answer station,
1. Make intercom call.
2. Press CAMP.
3. Yourtelephone immediately hangs up. When the telephone you
called becomes idle, your telephone will ring with fiveshort ring
bursts. When you hear the ringbursts, press INTERCOM.The
other telephone will start ringing.
If you do notpress INTERCOM within the time l imit, the
callback is canceled at that time; however,you ca n cancel
automatic callback at anytime before your telephone sounds the
ring bursts.
To cancel automatic ringback,
1. Press INTERCOM and dial #6.
NOTE:If you make a call in the voice-announce mode and receive no
answer at the called station, press INTERCOM beforepressing
camp buttonin order to camp on at that station.
To camp on at a station with a Do Not Disturb conditionset,
1. Make intercom call.
2. Press CAMP. A callback will occur when called station is no
longer set in the Do Not Disturb mode.
