When you change the loudness, that change remains in effectuntil you
change it again (referred to as defaultsetting).
Set the speaker, headset, handset, or group listening loudness for
all future calls using the following steps:
1. Press INTERCOM.
2. Choose speaker, headset, handset, or group listen mode to be
affected.
3. While in that mode, press VOLU ME UP or VOLUM E DOWN to
adjust loudness.
4. Dial ✳✳5to hold the loudness at the last setting for all future
calls (until it is changed again).
5. Repeat this procedure in each mode until all default volume levels
havebeen properly set.
NOTE:You may adjust the volume of a call in any mode (over speaker,
headset, handset or group listen),at any time during the call,
bypres sing VOLUMEUP orVOLUME DOWN. When the call
ends, the volumeof all future calls is reset to the programmed
(default) setting.
8.16 Setting YourPersonal Ringing Tones
Youcan choose one of six different ring tones for your telephone when
it rings. Often, when severaltelephones are located close together,each
user chooses a differentpersonal ring tone.
To select one of the ring tones, proceed as follows:
1. Press OPTIONS.
2. Press NEXT until RING appears.
3. Press RING.
4. Press UP or DOWN to choose ring tone in display (a new tone will
sound at each up or down press).
5. Press SPEAKER to end. The next time your telephone rings, you
will hear the new ring tone.
