6.3 TransferringCalls – Unscreened•To transfer an unscreenedcall to another telephone
in the system,
1. Answer call.
2. Press TRANSFER/CONFERENCE (call is automatically placed
on hold).
3. Dial extension number of telephone to receivetransfer or press
DSS for that extension.
4. Press SPEAKER to disconnect or hang up. Intercom party then
has the call.
NOTE:Unscreened transfers camp-on at busy telephones and wait to
be answered. Eachcall automatically rings the telephone as
soon as it becomes idle.
•If a transferredcall is not answeredand then returns to your
telephone, you can take one of the followingsteps:
—press SEND to re-transferthe call,
—press HOLD to place the call on hold at your telephone,
—press ANS to returnto the call.
