Transferring Calls

6.2 Transferring Calls – Screened

∙To screen and transfer a call to another telephone in the system,

1.Answer call.

2.Press TRANSFER/CONFERENCE (call is automatically placed on hold).

3.Dial extension number of telephone to receive transfer or press DSS button for that extension.

4.When intercom party answers, announce call.

5.Press SPEAKER to disconnect, or hang up. Intercom party then has the call.

∙If the intercom party is busy, take one of the following steps (if made available at your telephone by installer programming):

—press RECON to return to the call yourself,

—press SOHVA to allow you to tell the intercom party that a call awaits,

—press CAMP to camp-on to that station,

—press OVER to allow you to join the intercom party’s current conversation.
