•To turn on the message waiting light atan idle telephone,
1. Press MESSAGE. (For models 8012S and 8024S,press
INTERCOM,thendial✳3.)
2. Dial extension number of station to be alerted. The message
waitinglight of called station will flash.
•To turn off the messagewaiting light at a busy or idle station,
1. Press MESSAGE. (For models 8012S and 8024S,press

2. Dial extension number of station that was alerted. The message
waitinglight of called station will turn off.
•To turn off the messagewaiting light during message-delivering
conversation,
1. Press INTERCOM.
•To receive a messageat an alert
1. Observe flashing message waiting light.
2. Press MESSAGE. (For models 8012S and 8024S,press
INTERCOM, then HOLD.) Connection to the stationt hatl eft
messageis automatic.
