Printing Envelopes

There are two methods you can use for printing

envelopes:

• For printing a single envelope use the Bypass

Tray on the back of the machine.

• For printing several envelopes use the Paper

Tray (instructions on next page).

Printing Single Envelope

1

On the right side of the machine, turn the Paper

Thickness Knob to envelope.

2

Open your document and select File > Print, click

on the Properties button, then Paper/Output tab,

then select the envelope size in the Paper Size list

box.

3

In the Paper Source list box, choose Bypass Tray.

4

Open the Bypass Tray on the back of the machine.

5

Insert the envelope with the addressable side

facing up and the flap pointing toward the left side.

If inserted correctly the envelope feeds into the

machine, then pauses until you click OK to print.

Note: If the printing on your envelope is not correct, reverse the orientation of the envelope and print again. After printing, change the Paper Thickness Knob back to the paper position.
