| Printing Envelopes |
| There are two methods you can use for printing |
| envelopes: |
| • For printing a single envelope use the Bypass |
| Tray on the back of the machine. |
| • For printing several envelopes use the Paper |
| Tray (instructions on next page). |
| Printing Single Envelope |
1 | On the right side of the machine, turn the Paper |
Thickness Knob to envelope.
2 | Open your document and select File > Print, click |
on the Properties button, then Paper/Output tab,
| then select the envelope size in the Paper Size list |
| box. |
3 | In the Paper Source list box, choose Bypass Tray. |
| |
4 | Open the Bypass Tray on the back of the machine. |
| |
5 | Insert the envelope with the addressable side |
facing up and the flap pointing toward the left side.
| If inserted correctly the envelope feeds into the |
| machine, then pauses until you click OK to print. |
Note: If the printing on your envelope is not correct, reverse the orientation of the envelope and print again. After printing, change the Paper Thickness Knob back to the paper position.
