25.2.4 SNMP Commands
Use the following commands to configure SNMP for the MSAP2000 AAMS.
25.2.4.1 Get Community Command
Syntax:
sys snmp getcommunity <community>
where
<community> = The password for the incoming Get- and GetNext-
requests from the management station.
Enter this command with the community to set the password.
25.2.4.2 Set Community Command
Syntax:
sys snmp setcommunity <community>
where
<community> = The password for the incoming Set- requests from the
management station.
Enter this command with the community to set the password.
25.2.4.3 Trusted Host Set Command
Syntax:
sys snmp trusthost set <ip>
where
<ip> = The IP address of a trusted host.
Use this command to add the host IP address to the list of trusted hosts. If you
enter a trusted host, your MSAP2000 AAMS will only respond to SNMP
messages from this address. If you leave the trusted host set to 0.0.0.0 (default),
the MSAP2000 AAMS will respond to all SNMP messages it receives, regardless
of source.
