Static Multicast

This chapter describes the Static Multicast screen.

10.1 Static Multicast Filter

Use the static multicast filter to allow incoming frames based on multicast MAC address(es) that you specify. This feature can be used in conjunction with IGMP snooping to allow multicast MAC address(es) that are not learned by IGMP snooping. Use the static multicast filter to pass routing protocols, such as RIP and OSPF.

10.2 Static Multicast Screen

Click Advanced Application and then Static Multicast in the navigation panel to display the

Static Multicast screen as shown next.

The Number Of	This is the number of static multicast filters configured on the MSAP2000 AAMS.

	information cannot be seen in one screen.
Reload	Click this button to refresh the screen.
