27.7.1 Static Entries (SVLAN Table)
Static entry registration information is added, modified and removed by
administrators only.
27.7.2 Dynamic Entries (DVLAN Table)

Dynamic entries are learned by the MSAP2000 AAMS and cannot be cr eated or
updated by administrators. The MSAP2000 AAMS learns this information by
observing what port, source address and VLAN ID (or VID) is associate d with a
frame. Entries are added and deleted using GARP VLAN Registration Protocol
(GVRP), where GARP is the Generic Attribute Registration Protocol.
27.8 IEEE VLAN1Q Tagged VLAN Configuration
Commands
These switch commands allow you to configure and monitor the IEEE 802.1Q
Tagged VLAN.
27.8.1 GARP Timer Show Command
Syntax:
ras> switch garptimer show
This command shows the MSAP2000 AAMS’s GARP timer settings, including the
join, leave and leave all timers.
An example is shown next.

27.8.2 GARP Timer Join Command
Syntax:
ras> switch garptimer join <join msec>
where
<join msec> = This sets the duration of the Join Period timer for
GVRP in milliseconds. Each port has a Join Period
timer. The allowed Join Time range is between 100
and 32767 milliseconds; the default is 200
milliseconds.
