Jog dial/Bague Jog

Scratch play

When jog mode is set to [VINYL], pressing the top surface of the jog dial and turning it causes playback to occur in proportion to the speed and direction of jog dial rotation.

1.Press the JOG MODE VINYL button so the button indica- tor lights.

The jog dial’s [Vinyl] indicator also lights.

2.During playback, press the top surface of the jog dial.

Playback will slow and stop (the deceleration time until full stop [“response characteristics”] can be set separately). If the jog dial is rotated before playback decelerates to full stop, sound will stop, and playback will then be performed in response to the direction and speed of jog dial rotation in step 3.

3.Rotate the jog dial in the direction and at the speed you wish playback to be performed.

Playback will be heard in the direction and speed proportional to the jog dial rotation.

4.Remove hand from jog dial.

Playback will either acceleration or decelerate to return to its sta- tus before the jog dial was touched (the acceleration/deceleration time until playback returns to its previous condition [“response characteristics”] can be set separately).

7This function sets the time to full stop when the jog dial’s surface is pressed, and the time from full stop to normal playback speed when the

surface of the Jog dial is released.

Rotate the VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE dial.

Rotating the dial changes the deceleration speed (response) from play- back to full stop, and the acceleration speed (response) from full stop to normal playback.

Spin play

During playback in VINYL mode, either press the surface of the jog dial or press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) to pause playback, then rotate the jog dial quickly; playback will occur in the direction and at a speed proportional to the direction and speed of jog dial rotation, even if you then release your hand from the jog dial.

Braking

During playback in VINYL mode, if the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) is pressed to pause playback, the sound decelerates at the braking speed set with the VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE dial.

Lecture “Scratch”

Lorsque le mode Jog est réglé sur [VINYL], une pression sur la surface supérieure de la bague Jog et sa rotation feront que la lecture s’accomplira en proportion de la vitesse et du sens de rotation de la bague Jog.

1.Appuyez sur le bouton JOG MODE VINYL de sorte que le voyant du bouton s’allume.

Le voyant [Vinyl] de la bague Jog s’allume également.

2.Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur la surface supérieure de la bague Jog.

La lecture ralentit et s’arrête (la durée de décélération jusqu’à l’arrêt complet [“les caractéristiques de réponse”] peut être ajustée indépendamment). Si la bague Jog est tournée avant que la lec- ture ne ralentisse jusqu’à l’arrêt complet, le son s’arrête et la lec- ture s’accomplit alors selon le sens et la vitesse de rotation de la bague Jog, définis à l’étape 3.

3.Tournez la bague Jog dans le sens et à la vitesse souhaités pour la lecture.

La lecture sera audible dans le sens et la vitesse, en proportion de la rotation de la bague Jog.

4.Retirez la main de la bague Jog.

La lecture accélère ou ralentit pour revenir à l’état d’avant le toucher sur la bague Jog (la durée de l’accélération / décélération jusqu’au retour de la lecture à son état antérieur [“les caractéristiques de réponse”] peut être ajustée indépendamment).

7Cette fonction définit la durée jusqu’à l’arrêt complet quand la surface de la bague Jog est touchée, et la durée entre l’arrêt complet et la lecture normale quand la surface de la bague Jog

est relâchée.

Tournez la bague VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE.

La rotation de la bague change la vitesse de décélération (réponse) entre la lecture et l’arrêt complet, et la vitesse d’accélération (réponse) entre l’arrêt complet et la lecture normale.

Lecture “Spin”

Pendant la lecture en mode VINYL, appuyez sur la surface de la bague Jog ou appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour interrompre la lecture, puis tournez rapidement la bague Jog. La lecture s’accomplira dans le sens et à la vitesse proportionnels au sens et à la vitesse de rotation de la bague Jog, même si vous retirez la main de la bague Jog.

Freinage

Pendant la lecture en mode VINYL, si vous appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour interrompre la lecture, le son ralentit selon la vitesse de freinage, définie par la bague VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE.

Lorsque le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (6) est actionné une nouvelle fois pour reprendre la lecture, le son accélère jusqu’à la vitesse, définie par la bague VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE.

Retour rapide

Quand le mode Jog est réglé sur [VINYL], une pression sur la surface de la bague Jog fait revenir instantanément la lecture au point de repère.

1.Appuyez sur le bouton JOG MODE VINYL de sorte que le voyant du bouton s’allume.

Le voyant [Vinyl] de la bague Jog s’allume aussi.

2.Appuyez sur le bouton QUICK RETURN de manière que le voyant du bouton s’allume.

L’affichage de la bague Jog indique le voyant clignotant de la posi- tion du point de repère.

3.Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur la surface de la bague Jog.

Si un point de repère a été placé en mémoire, la lecture reviendra instantanément au point de repère mémorisé. Si aucun point de repère n’a été placé en mémoire, l’affichage ne change pas.

La lecture repassera aussi au point initial (point de repère) si la bague Jog est appuyée pendant la lecture à boucle.

Pendant la lecture MP3, un retour rapide peut être exécuté à l’intérieur d’un même dossier.
