Adjusting Stretch Stitch Balance

1Feed balancing dial

If the stretch stitch patterns are uneven when you sew on a particular fabric, adjust them with the feed balancing dial 1 . To adjust the distorted patterns:

AIf the patterns are drawn out, correct them by turning the dial in the “–” direction.

BIf the patterns are compressed, correct them by turning the dial in the “+” direction.

Press the stitch control to sew in reverse.
