Using the water and ice dispensers (cont.)

Your freezer dispenses both cubed and crushed ice. Before dispensing ice, select which type of ice you prefer. The button controls are designed for easy use and cleaning. For cubed ice, press the CUBE button until the red indicator appears in the window above the button. For crushed ice, press the CRUSH button until the red indicator appears in the window above the button. For crushed ice, cubes are crushed before being dispensed. This may cause a slight delay when dispensing crushed ice. Noise from the ice crusher is normal, and pieces of ice may vary in size. When changing from CRUSH to CUBE, a few ounces of crushed ice will be dispensed along with the first cubes.

Votre congélateur distribue de la glace concassée et en cubes. Avant la distribution de glaçons, choisir quel genre de glace vous préférez. Les boutons de réglages sont conçus pour une utilisation et un nettoyage faciles. Pour la glace en cubes, appuyer sur le bouton CUBE jusqu’à l’illumination de l’indicateur rouge dans la fenêtre au-dessus du bouton. Pour de la glace concassée, les glaçons sont concassés avant d’être distribués. Cette action peut causer un léger délai lors de la distribution de glace concassée. Le bruit du concasseur de glaçons est normal et la dimension des morceaux de glace peut varier. Lorsqu’on change de CRUSH (concassé) à CUBE (cube), quelques onces de glace concassée seront distribuées avec les premiers glaçons.

To dispense ice:

1.Press button for the desired type of ice.

2.Press a sturdy container against the ice dispenser lever. Hold the container close to the dispenser opening so ice does not fall outside of the glass.

IMPORTANT: You do not need to apply a lot of pressure to the lever in order to activate the ice dispen- ser. Pressing hard will not make the ice dispense faster or in greater quantities.

3.Remove the container to stop dispensing.

NOTE: The dispenser will not operate when the freezer door is open. The first few batches of ice may have an off-flavor from new plumbing and parts. Throw the ice away. Also, take large amounts of ice from the ice bin, not through the dispenser.
