Resetting a User Password

If a user forgets his password, either the user or an administrator can reset it so a new password can be entered. The reset user password feature resets the password to the factory default which is blank (no password).

You can reset a user password using the Aastra Web UI only. Use the following procedure to reset a user password.

Aastra Web UI

Click on Operation->Phone Lock.

In the “Reset User Password” field, click .
