5 Installing Options

The Color LaserWriter 12/600 PS has several user-installable printer options. You can add a 250-sheet feeder (containing a universal cassette), a 250-sheet universal cassette, and external hard disks or an internal hard disk for font management. You can also increase the printer’s random-access memory (RAM).

This chapter provides instructions for installing these options.

WARNING When installing any of the options described in this chapter, be sure the printer is turned off.
