Instructions for replacing the photoconductor cartridge come in the package with the new photoconductor and two toner disposal boxes. (You use two toner disposal boxes during the lifetime of one photoconductor cartridge.)

If the light comes on in the middle of a printing job, and the output is still satisfactory, continue printing if you wish. You won’t harm the printer by doing so. The printer stops automatically if there is chance it could be damaged.

Note: Don’t throw away the used photoconductor cartridge. See the instructions that come with the new photoconductor for information on how to return the used photoconductor to the manufacturer. By returning the used photoconductor cartridge, you help reduce waste and preserve the environment.
