Turning the startup pages on or off

The Color LaserWriter 12/600 PS normally prints a startup page and a demonstration page when you turn the printer on. The startup page shows the printer’s name, the total number of pages printed, the amount of memory, installed options, and communication settings. You can turn this feature off if you wish.

1Open the Printer Preferences category.

You see a list of preferences.

2Open the Startup Pages category.

3In the panel that appears, click the checkboxes to turn either the startup page or the demonstration page (or both) on or off.

The X means the printer is set to print the startup page and the demonstration page.

4 To send the startup page setting to the printer, click Send.
