3.1.1 Operating Conditions

Before deciding on an installation site, consider the following guidelines:

•Protect the cooling fan by avoiding dust or metallic particles.

•Do not expose the drive to a corrosive atmosphere.

•Protect the drive from moisture and direct sunlight.

•Verify that the drive location will meet the environmental conditions specified in table 3.1.
