Journal Period

You can set the MFC to print activity reports at specific intervals (1, 3, 6, 12, 24 hours, 2, 4 or 7 days). If you set the interval to OFF, you can print the report by following the steps in the previous section.

1Press Menu, 1, 6, 2.

2Press or to display

JOURNAL PERIOD

3Press Set.

4Press or to choose your setting. If you choose 7 days, the screen prompts you to choose a day at which to begin the 7-day countdown.

5When the screen displays the setting you want, press Set.

6Enter the time to begin printing, in 24-hour format. (For example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM).

7Press Set.

8Press Stop to exit.

Order Form

If your machine is set to ON, you can print an accessories order form to your Brother dealer for service when you need to replace the drum or toner. During the screen displays CHANGE TONER or CHANGE DRUM SOON, when you press Start, your machine prints an accessories order from.

1Press Menu, 1, 6, 7.

2Use or to select ON or OFF.

3Press Set.

4Press Stop to exit.
