Making Enlarged or Reduced Copies

1Insert the document in the feeder, or on the glass platten.

2Press Enlarge/Reduce. The screen displays

ELG/RDC:100%

SELECT { } & SET

3Press or to choose an enlargement or reduction ratio.

You can reduce to AUTO, 93%, 87%, 75%, 50%, or 25% of the

original size

— OR—

You can enlarge to 120%, 125%, 141%, 150%, 200%, or 400%

— OR—

You can select MANUAL and press Set, then use the dial pad to enter an enlargement or reduction ratio between 25% and 400%. For example, press 5, 3 to enter 53%.

4Press Copy.

5Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies.

6 Wait for five seconds — OR— Press Copy again.

AUTO sets the machine to caluculate automatically the reduction ratio that fits the size of your paper.

Special Copy Options

You can sort multiple pages, copy either two or four pages onto one page, and create a poster size copy of a photograph.
