The printer driver may be configured with the wrong port.

Make sure the MultiPASS printer driver is configured to use the PC’s parallel interface port. (1 MultiPASS Suite Software User’s Guide)

The PC’s parallel interface port may be disabled.

Make sure your PC’s CMOS has the primary parallel port set to LPT1. (Your PC should have a Setup Program that lets you do this.) See your PC’s documentation.

Another hardware device or software application is attempting to communicate with the same parallel interface port to which the MultiPASS C70 is connected.

Disconnect the peripheral device and uninstall or remove any software associated with this device and any software communicating with the parallel interface port.
