Canon MP530 zUsing the Platen Glass

Note

zMake sure any glue, ink, correction fluid, or the like is completely dry before loading the document.

zRemove all staples, paper clips, and the likes before loading the document.

zUsing the Platen Glass

Open the Document Cover.

Load your document on the Platen Glass.

zPlace your document face down on the Platen Glass.

zAlign the upper left corner of your document with the alignment mark on the upper left corner of the Platen Glass.

Note

zThe machine cannot scan the area within about 0.08" / 2 mm from the rear edge, and within about 0.08" / 2 mm from the left edge of the Platen Glass.

zYou can also scan in originals that are up to 0.39" / 10 mm thick, such as books. Set them on the Platen Glass in the same way as documents.

3 Gently close the Document Cover.
