3 Press [Feed Switch] so that the Auto Sheet Feeder Lamp lights.

4 When performing copy or print without a computer, press [Paper] to select the page size. When using the machine connected to a computer, select the page size of the loaded paper from [Page Size] in the printer driver.

Important

Always load paper in portrait orientation (A). Loading paper in landscape orientation (B) can cause the paper to be jammed.

Loading the Print Media in the Cassette

Depending on page size and media type, some paper must always be loaded in the Auto Sheet Feeder.

If you intend to use only the Cassette, check any usage restrictions in advance. See “Recommended Paper and Requirements” on page 22.
