Installing Pluggable Transceivers
b.Grasp the edges of the module, and slide the module straight out of the slot. Do not touch the module circuitry.

Installing Pluggable Transceivers
Some Catalyst 6500 Ethernet modules require that pluggable transceivers be installed in the module port sockets. These transceivers are normally shipped separately from the module and must be installed after the module is installed in the chassis slot.
