Cisco MGX 8830 or MGX 8830/B Switch

APS Assembly

For both equipment and fiber protection, 1+1 card and APS line redundancy require an APS connector

(Cisco Part Number MGX-8830-APS-CON) that links the two optical back cards: an active card and a

standby card. Figure 1-36 shows the MGX-8830-APS-CON.
